Piano lessons for all ages and experience levels!

Develop your creativity, expand your mind and challenge yourself. Learn the
traditions and techniques of playing piano while at the same time discovering and
exploring a new world of possibilities. Learn to perform, play with other musicians
and express yourself through music.

I’m a recent graduate from the California Institute of the Arts where I majored in
piano performance and studied many styles including new and experimental music
as well as standard classical music. I have six years of teaching experience and
have taught beginning to intermediate students of all ages. I cater to each
student’s individual needs and desires. I believe that it is important above
all else to enjoy and feel rewarded by what one’s learning and I do everything I
can to make that possible for every student I teach.

I’m happy to come to you for lessons or you can come to my studio where I have a
baby grand piano. I teach throughout the week as well as on the weekends and
will work to accommodate any scheduling needs you might have. Lessons are
$25 for thirty minutes and $35 for an hour.

Experience
I've taught at numerous music schools including: Fountain Valley Music, Amadeus
School of Music, The Center in Pasadena and the Los Angeles Music and Arts
School. I've also sustained a private studio of over 20 students whom I taught at
my home studio as well as at their homes. I've also substituted for many teachers.
While at the California Institute of the Arts I taught undergraduate non-major piano
lessons as well. I have experience teaching beginning through intermediate
students.

Qualifications
I attended the Orange County High School of the Performing Arts for four years
studying piano performance with an emphasis on jazz and graduated from there in
2004. I then went on to the California Institute of the Arts where I also majored in
piano performance and I just recently graduated from there last May.
